With the benefit of several academic diversified resources, I am able to deliver, to all my clients, different techniques during therapy.
It is firmly believed and proven by studies and research that, one single approach can be confining in therapy and it can slow understating and recovery.
Most psychologists would agree that no one perspective is correct as each perspective has its strengths and weaknesses.
For this reason, it is critical that my approaches in therapy find their resources from different perspectives. This method of therapy is unique to each individual and allows me to implement therapeutic sessions based on the client’s specific needs.
After an assessment the client and I will consider and agree on the most efficient route(s) to take in the pursuit of their well-being.
I provide coaching on personal, family and work issues, to name but a few. These may involve overcoming poor academic or work performance, dealing with interpersonal difficulties, family stress, marital issues, depression or poor self-esteem. We can work together to minimise anxiety and depression, to bolster self-confidence, address behavioural problems, manage stress and anger, improve communication and resolve conflicts.
I can share thoughts with my clients based on the difference between what is theoretically interesting and what is of clinical utility; thus offering a map that serves as an efficient way to assess clients while providing a framework that guides treatment negotiations, integrating symptoms as well as personal growth.
The major purpose is one to be concise, is to use the insights of the various fields of human knowledge in a complementary way, to bring together the most possible numbers of points of view on an issue, with the intention of creating more multifaceted and effective solutions to individual problems.
Because it is also important for you to find the right therapist, I suggest that we meet for an initial 60 minutes, introductory low rate (£20) consultation. This will give you the opportunity to feel comfortable and to start building a successful therapeutic relationship with me.
