Statins – Erosion of Public confidence.
Just over two years ago I posted a blog about Statins; https://mpsym.co.uk/statins-are-killers/
The public (patients) are reluctant to understand that a system of medical practice (allopathic medicine) that aims to combat disease by use of remedies (such as drugs and/or surgery) is not the solution towards their well-being.
Drug are used to cure, mitigate, treat and suppress symptoms. Prevention, as per the Hippocratic Oath, should be the answer.
In fact, in the original Oath, one can read: “I will use treatment to help the sick according to my ability and judgment, but never with a view to injury and wrong-doing. Neither will I administer a poison to anybody when asked to do so, nor will I suggest such a course“.
The majority of doctors take an oath but, in modern times, this has been changed to: “I swear to fulfil, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant: I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow“. The inability to implement meticulous care to future patients rest in their ignorance and complacent attitude from the beginning.
Hard-won scientific gains..?.?.. that have been corrupted by greed and the desire for power and money. [Physicians have done little over the years; biologists, biophysicists, geneticists, neuroscientists and others are those that have actually come up with answers – (Jacques Dubochet, Michael Rosbash, Yoshinori Ohsumi, May-Britt Moser are just a few of them)].
This is a 2018 medical review on Statins. Behind such a review there are hundreds of doctors and from all over the globe.
